2014 - Offley Place
Yet another lovely February day! Even
the snowdrops and crocus came out for the celebration of Steven
and Emma's wedding.
I know that most of my brides wear white
(or similar) but it's always a nice surprise when one goes
for something different. Emma chose a gold, embroidered gown
which was a mix of Indian and 1920's evening gown.
The conservatory was set up with green
sashes and homemade decorated jam jars filled with flowers.
The entrance of the flowergirls was funny
as Steve had to coax little Eliza down the aisle, however
the rest of the ceremony went very smoothly... with a few
tears from Emma and some of the guests.
With any confetti shot be aware that
you are likely to eat some - and that it gets everywhere!
The jam jars were re-used as table decorations
for the wedding breakfast and each table named after special
places. During the speeches the groom's dad poured special
Polish wedding vodka shots for everyone.
Bride's mum wore a really hot pink hat.
This younger guest took a bit of a fancy to it during the
evening party before I snuck the bride and groom away for
a few final photos on the stairs.
